Complications were more frequent in patients who underwent inpatient TSA (11.4% [9 of 79]; 95% CI, 4.1%-17.4%) than those who underwent outpatient TSA (2.1% [2 of 94]; 95% CI, 0.1%-7.7%), although this difference did not reach statistical significance ( P = .080) ( Table V ).
