In case of vesicle-associated proteins, we observed more than 1.5-fold enrichment (did not reach statistical significance) of non-canonical N-ethylmaleimide-sensitive factor attachment receptors (SNAREs) proteins, namely, Vti1a and VAMP7, in the “spontaneous” pool synapses, whereas VAMP2, the classical vesicular SNARE, displayed a significant relative enrichment in the “evoking” pool of synapses.
