Additionally, in a study of adults and adolescents with pediatric-onset HPP, AA therapy at lower doses (2.1–3.5 mg/kg/week) led to normalization of circulating PLP and PPi levels, as well as significant improvement in functional assessments such as the 6-Minute Walk Test; however, the reduction in PPi did not reach statistical significance.
