Based on Table 1 , a clear trend emerges–the fabrics studied can be categorized in to two groups: highly breathable, loosely knit or woven fabrics that have pressure drop comparable to pediatric facemasks (21 Pa), and less breathable, tightly woven fabrics, with pressure drops comparable to the limit of N95 respirators (343 Pa).
