When a dose-response meta-analysis was conducted among 13 prospective studies [ 31 ], the association per one cup of coffee per day was nominally significant (OR for postmenopausal disease = 0.97, 95% CI = 0.95–1.00), which was consistent with the finding of the current MR study (OR = 0.90, 95% CI 0.79–1.02).
