The mean of hypoglycemia events following a previous hypoglycemia alert was smaller in the ON (1.78) than in the OFF (1.87) but did not reach statistical significance (IRR=1.09, 95% CI 0.91 to 1.30, p=0.438) suggesting that alerting for hypoglycemia did not prevent subsequent hypoglycemic episodes.
