In the latest analysis of the United Kingdom National Registry for Radiation Workers [ 29 ], circulatory disease mortality had a borderline significant trend with dose, with an excess relative risk (ERR) of 0.25 Sv −1 (95 % CI, −0.01 to 0.54).
