Furthermore, later postoperative examinations disclosed a clear trend toward diminishing central opacification relative to peripheral regions over the entrance pupil.[ 12 ] After PRK, the early-onset corneal haze has been found associated with high myopia, astigmatism, and brown irides when late-onset corneal haze associated with ultraviolet radiation.[ 8 , 22 , 23 ]
