Eggs were viable for longer under 11–19°C (all colonies, p < 0.001), and there were only marginally significant differences between Wolbachia infection type at this temperature (log rank test, χ 2 = 6.4, df = 2, p = 0.04); w Mel-infected eggs died faster than uninfected eggs (pairwise comparisons, w AlbB-infected: uninfected, p = 0.287; w AlbB-infected: w Mel-infected, p = 0.626; w Mel-infected: uninfected, p = 0.027).
