Analysis of annotated multiplex immunofluorescence images revealed that although there was a trend toward positive correlation between greater tumor cell HLA class I expression and CD3 + tumor cells localized within the tumor parenchyma, stroma or entire tumor section, these correlations failed to reach statistical significance ( figure 1D ).
