The peak thrombin increased from 83 nmol/L IIa (58‐100) to 111 nmol/L IIa [81‐127] after FFP transfusion, corresponding with a 30 [16‐51]% increase, and peak thrombin after FFP transfusion was higher compared with levels in healthy controls, although this did not reach statistical significance (111 vs 81 nmol/L IIa, P = .42).
