The adjusted OR (aOR) for coffee and green tea intake for periodontitis did not reach statistical significance in model 2, while that for mild soft drink was 1.16 (95% confidence interval (CI) = 1.11–1.21, P < 0.001) and that for heavy soft drink was 1.02 (95%CI = 0.96–1.09, P = 0.518) ( Table 2 ).
