19 CML patients were categorized into two groups based on the median value of the miR-486-5p relative expression levels (2 –Δ Ct values) in pre-imatinib therapy blood samples (i.e., high expression and low expression groups). An analysis of the association of the miR-486-5p expression levels with pre-treatment prognostic Sokal scores showed a trend indicating better prognosis in CML patients with the higher miR-486-5p expression ( Table 5 ).
