Caffeine only increased Abalakov jump height by a mean of 2.9 ± 3.6% in AA homozygotes ( p = 0.03), while this result did not reach statistical significance for C-allele carriers (2.3 ± 6.8%; p = 0.33), it did not affect sprint time in the CODAT test in either genotype, but it increased the number of impacts during a simulated game in AA homozygotes (4.1 ± 5.3%; p = 0.02) and C-allele carriers (3.3 ± 3.2%; p = 0.01).
