Rats treated with MTX and enteral n-3 PUFA (Group D) as opposed to group C (MTX only) revealed a significant lower intestinal damage score in ileum (32%, p < 0.05) and a trend toward lower injury scores in jejunum; this trend did not reach statistical significance.
