Strength Outcomes For the primary outcome, EX [12.3 (0.9, 23.8) kg; P = 0.031; d = 0.22] and NUTR+EX [29.6 (18.1, 41.0) kg; P < 0.001; d = 0.80] resulted in increases in 1RM leg press strength at POST (Time effect, P < 0.001), but a directional increase in NUTR [11.1 (−1.3, 23.6) kg] did not reach statistical significance ( P = 0.093; d = 0.31) ( Figure 1A ).
