RT-qPCR results revealed that in CL1-5 cells treated with the OGA inhibitor TMG to increase O -GlcNAc levels, OGA mRNA expression was significantly increased as compared to that of untreated cells ( Figure 2 A), although the changes of OGA mRNA level in A549 cells did not reach statistical significance.
