At a median follow-up of 7 years, none of the immune-tolerant patients with FIB-4 <1.45 developed HCC, as compared to a cumulative HCC incidence of 1.4% at 5 years among treated patients with FIB-4 <1.45, though the difference between the two groups did not reach statistical significance.
