Patients with endoscopic esophagitis had significantly more frequently EUSTAR reported esophageal symptoms (“reflux and/or dysphagia”) and slightly higher mRSS scores, while the distribution of individual upper gastrointestinal tract symptoms (heartburn, dysphagia, and regurgitation), as well as that of the UCLA GIT 2.0 score and subscales, did not reach statistical significance (Table 5 ).
