garinii bacteremia had a larger EM skin lesion that expanded faster, more often had local symptoms (mild itching), but not systemic symptoms, and showed a trend for more frequent laboratory abnormalities including an elevated ESR, leukopenia and the presence of borrelia IgG antibodies in serum.
