Although the differences did not reach statistical significance, odds ratio (OR) analysis showed that Borrelia spp. seroprevalence was positively correlated (OR > 1) with risk of rabies virus exposure in the PEP (OR = 3.29; CI, 0.65–16.78; p = 0.13) and PrEP (OR = 2.91; CI, 0.59–14.27; p = 0.17) case groups compared with the healthy donors control group.
