Our results also showed a positive trend in the association between epigenetic drift and risk of cancer overall (slope = 0.17) and cancers of the kidney (slope = 0.04), lung (slope = 0.13), and urothelium (slope = 0.33) and mature B-cell lymphoma (slope = 0.88), as well as a negative trend for gastric (slope = −0.01), prostate (slope = −0.12) and colorectal (slope = −0.09) cancers ( Figure 3 ).
