Although the rate was significantly higher when studies published before the year 2000 were pooled (18%; 95% CI: 10–26%; I 2 = 17.24%), compared to when studies published at or after the year 2000 were pooled (13%; 95% CI: 6–20%; I 2 = 94.04%), this difference did not reach statistical significance ( P = 0.11).
