While it did not reach statistical significance, patients with OLT in the setting of ankle instability showed worse preoperative Tegner scores than patients with isolated OLT, suggesting that ankle instability has a substantial effect on quality of life, regardless of demographics and lesion size, as patients were matched to their controls.
