In a retrospective analysis ( 81 ) of 619 consecutive patients (19% women) undergoing CRT implantation in a single center over a 10-year period, female sex was the only independent predictor of all—cause mortality (HR 0.44, 95% CI 0.21–0.90, p = 0.025) and showed a trend toward lower heart failure hospitalization.
