Similar to the age and gender, the differences regarding both the knowledge about the doses of inhaled corticosteroids [fluticasone propionate or fluticasone-salmeterol inhalers (X 2 =0.929)] and the answer to the question “Any doses of the inhaler given to any person other than the child’’ (p=0.818 and p=0.052, respectively) (Table 5 ) did not reach statistical significance when compared to the adherence to the asthma controller medication.
