Interestingly, when looking for effect of tumor type on the development of fatty liver, we identified patients with pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors and periampullary adenocarcinomas to be at higher risk than those patients with pancreatic adenocarcinoma, although this did not reach statistical significance on multivariate analysis.
