Besides gyrA and parC , which passed our p -value cut off (5.21 × 10 −7 ), we could find mutations in less-studied genes involved in modifying target enzymes, such as gyrB and parE , as well as in the genes involved in alterations of permeation, such as acrB , ompC , mdtK ( norE ), and mdfA , which did not pass our p -value cutoff but were mildly significant ( p -value around 5 × 10 −3 ).
