The first possibility is supported by the finding that after TBI, HET0016 inhibitor of CYP450 4A did not elicit further reduction in the constrictor response, and the expression of the 20-HETE producing CYP isoforms tended to decrease after TBI (albeit, the expression did not reach statistical significance due to large variation of data), whereas the second one is supported by the finding that constriction to U46619, a stable thromboxane analog acting via TP receptors became reduced after TBI.
