Sorafenib in first-line treatment (Checkmate 459, NCT02576509 ) [ 178 ] showed that HCC patients treated with Nivolumab presented better median OS (16.4 months compared to 14.7 in the patients who received Sorafenib [HR 0.85 (95% CI; 0.72–1.02; 0.075)] although the results did not reach statistical significance.
