APPL2 HepKO mice showed a trend of improvement in glucose tolerance ( Supplementary Fig. 1 G ) and significant enhancement of insulin sensitivity ( Supplementary Fig. 1 H ) compared with their Loxp wild-type littermates, suggesting that hepatic APPL2 plays an inhibitory role in systematic insulin action.
