This revealed significantly higher brain PAD in MDD (+2.78 years, Cohen’s d = 0.25, 95% CI −0.10–0.60, p FDR = 0.048) and anxiety patients (+2.91 years, Cohen’s d = 0.27, 95% CI −0.08–0.61, p FDR = 0.048), and a similar effect in the comorbid MDD and anxiety group (+2.23 years, Cohen’s d = 0.21, 95% CI 0.10–0.53) although only marginally significant ( p FDR =0.08) (Table 2 ).
