24 Furthermore, a recent systematic review and meta-analysis of IUI cycle outcomes in men with and without teratozoospermia (4% or less normal forms) demonstrated a trend toward a lower rate of ultrasound-verified pregnancies per IUI cycle (12.1% versus 14.2%, p = 0.06), although this did not reach statistical significance. 25 Therefore, it is our strong recommendation to patients with teratozoospermia to cease use of marijuana while fertility remains a concern.
