Previously, Garnett and den Ouden ( 2015 ) implemented a trial of the single sessions of anodal/cathodal tDCS in a group of 11 participants with DS (compared to a group of 20 fluent speakers), stimulating the posterior part of the left superior temporal gyrus (2 mA for 20 min; no findings—i.e., improved or impaired speech—approached significance).
