Chi-square tests showed that sex, age in developmental groups (6–9, 10–13 and 14–16 years) and oral hygiene were not significantly associated to oral health status in this sample, however the aggregated age variable did have a significative trend ( p = 0.04), sCD14 was strongly associated ( p < 0.01) with a significant trend.
