Comparison of the distribution of patients with and without MGD across triglyceride levels (normal <150 mg/dL, borderline 150–199 mg/dL, or high 200+ mg/dL) showed a trend towards an increase in frequency of MGD with elevated triglycerides, although this finding was not significant ( Figure 1A ).
