19 , 20 , 21 Inhibin B levels in 13 of the 38 patients examined fell below the reference range and the median value was 103.0 (IQR: 74.8–145.8) pg ml −1 in patients, in comparison with 116.0 (IQR: 85.3–128.5) pg ml −1 in controls, but the difference between patient and control groups did not reach statistical significance.
