According to the treatment paradigms, the naïve OC patients who were planned for primary debulking surgery showed a quite significant decrease in Galectin-1levels post debulking surgery which infers high serum levels of Galectin-1 are produced and secreted in serum by tumor and its tumor associated stroma [ 15 ].
