6 , according to the Cox model, there was a clear trend toward a progressive reduction of the adjusted risk of composite outcome as adherence with drug therapy increased, i.e., compared with low adherence, patients with intermediate and high adherence showed an adjusted risk reduction of 41% (95% CI, − 6 to 67%) and 55% (20–75%), respectively.
