Conclusions In our experience dual antiplatelet therapy with acetylsalicylic acid plus clopidogrel or ticagrelor ongoing until 1 day or 24 hours before CABG (group C) showed a clearly significant increased risk of bleeding complications in comparison with its discontinuation at 2–3 (group B) and > 3–4 (group A) days before.
