We observed a clear trend towards short half-lives around 10–20 hours when the fatty diacid moiety C18 diacid-γGlu-2xAdo was positioned towards the N-terminal end, whereas longer half-lives were observed when the fatty diacid was closer to the C-terminus, resulting in half-lives up to 60–78 hours (Table 1 and Fig. 2 a).
