Unlike MSCC, the fluorescence development of bioreactor samples shows a clear trend toward higher mean intensities with a slight increase in the non-fluorescent portion of the analyzed population, while the fluorescence intensity of the shake flask stays at a constant level with nearly two-fold increase of non-fluorescent cells.
