The HBsAg clearance rates were 29% (95% CI: 17% - 40%) after 24 weeks of treatment, 39% (95% CI: 25% - 53%) after 48 weeks of treatment, and 43% (95% CI: 35% - 50%) after 96 weeks of treatment ( Figure S3 ), suggesting that HBsAg clearance increased with longer Peg-IFN treatment, although the difference did not reach statistical significance ( P =0.5).
