The observed relationship between BMI and AMH can explain the comparable levels of AMH between EMS patients and controls detected in this study: indeed, although it did not reach statistical significance ( p = 0.1569), control women presented a higher mean of BMI (control women: 23.9 ± 5.6; EMS patients: 22.2 ± 3.7), which may have negatively affected AMH.
