The post hoc inspection showed that in the Anger condition ( Figure 4 , red line), participants rated the emotion of Anger higher compared to Physical Disgust ( p < 0.001) and Fear ( p < 0.001); nevertheless, the contrasts between Anger and Moral Disgust ( p = 0.96) and Anger and Sadness ( p = 0.24) failed to reach statistical significance.
