When analyzed separately, log 2 sTNFR-1 was a statistically significant predictor of stroke events (HR 3.59 [1.04, 12.44], P= 0.044) and of all-cause mortality (HR 3.03 [1.53, 6.01], P= 0.002), but did not reach statistical significance for MI events (HR 2.72 [0.797, 9.267], P= 0.11) after accounting for traditional cardiovascular risk factors.
