Importantly, these data recapitulated much of those in the model generated above, with significant differences between the sensitive SF-295 and insensitive A549 cell lines at baseline including 8 of 14 genes from the fivefold model, with an additional gene nearing significance (Supplementary Fig. 2 ).
This result may be significant because CDKN2A is commonly mutated in a number of difficult-to-treat cancers, such as glioblastomas and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinomas.
