Effect of Treatment on Blood Pressure Parameters In the subpopulation of patients receiving perindopril on top of bisoprolol-based therapy (merged data from three studies), a significant SBP decrease from baseline was observed at visit 2 (− 14.7 ± 12.3 mmHg, P < 0.001); the decrease in DBP of -6.7 ± 8.2 mmHg did not reach statistical significance ( P = 0.059).
