When considered together against the non-CS phenotype (dyspnea and chest pain [n=26]), the CS phenotype (n=82) had statistically significantly higher IL-6 levels ( P =.01) and higher ESR and CRP levels, but these did not reach statistical significance ( Supplemental Figure 2 , available online at http://www.mayoclinicproceedings.org ; Table 2 ).
