The intakes of added fructose and total fructose were higher amongst those with the MetS (41.85 ± 33.70 and 53.69 ± 35.03 g/day, respectively) compared to those without (37.59 ± 34.31 and 50.14 ± 35.85 g/day, respectively), but the differences did not reach statistical significance (Table 3 ).
